M.I.F. San Francisco, Inc. d.b.a. VILLAGE IMPORTS is a California Corporation since 1988. Hugues de Vernou is the Founder and President.

VILLAGE IMPORTS imports and distributes specialty foods and French wines. The food division carries over 2500 products. The lines of products represented are packaged for the food service industry as well as for the retail industry. Selections of the products are based on quality, name recognition, exclusivity and value.

The territories covered are mainly in the Northern California region. VILLAGE IMPORTS also sells to distributors in Washington State, Hawaii and Nevada.

VILLAGE IMPORTS Sales and marketing policies are quite aggressive; sales representatives have a weekly face to face meeting with most of their clients in each territory. The merchandise ordered by the client is delivered on a weekly basis, usually the day after the order is placed.

For the Wine division, VILLAGE IMPORTS is representing "Bercut-VanderVoort Selection" which includes wines introduced to the US market for the past 50 years.
